What Outreach Does For The Community
The purpose of community outreach is to bring awareness to mental health and work towards erasing the stigma. The community need to know that it is OK to not be OK sometimes. There is nothing wrong with reaching out for help. It takes a strong individual to seek help. We are not here to hurt anyone or make anyone feel shame for going through something. We are here to support the community in more ways than one.
Community outreach also allows us to advocate in anyway to accommodate one’s needs or struggles. We can connect people with the necessary resources to improve their mental well-being. We attend community events to show our support and love for the community. We also give events to show our appreciation for anyone allowing us to help them achieve mental stability. We can do great things together by bridging the gap and building community partnerships.
