Community Based Services (CPST, PSR, ILSB)
Community based services are to take place somewhere in the community setting. It can be home, school, work, or other place in the community. These services are not typically provided in other facilities. These services are designed to assist the individual with compensating for or eliminating functional deficits and interpersonal and/or environmental barriers associated with their mental illness. They also are goal-directed supports and solution-focused interventions intended to achieve identified goals or objectives as set forth in the individual’s individualized treatment plan. Individual and Family Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy typically takes place in our office, but under certain circumstances it can take place where it is convenient for the client. During psychotherapy, one hopes to learn about their condition and moods, feelings, thoughts and behaviors, how to take control of one's life and respond to challenging situations with healthy coping skills. The problems addressed are psychological in nature and can vary in terms of their causes, influences, triggers, and potential resolutions. Accurate assessment of these and other variables depends on the practitioner's capability and can change or evolve as the practitioner acquires experience, knowledge, and insight.

Exceptional Behavioral Health Services does not provide in-house psychiatric services. Upon intake, we will refer you to a trusted psychiatric provider. We only know these providers to provide Exceptional services just as we do.

Addiction treatment can be provided different types of ways. Groups are available at the office or individual addiction counseling can be provided in the community setting. We provide addiction outpatient treatment and intensive outpatient treatment services to individuals with addiction challenges. An outpatient program that offers comprehensive, coordinated, professionally directed and defined addiction treatment services that may vary in level of intensity and may be delivered in a wide variety of settings. Including individual, group, family counseling and psycho-education on recovery as well as monitoring of drug use, medication management, medical and psychiatric examinations, crisis mitigation coverage and orientation to community-based support groups.

Exceptional Behavioral Health Services accepts all Medicaid health plans. We verify benefits upon intake to ensure the appropriate coverage is in place. We do not currently accept self pay clients.
